Get To Know Jayla
We cannot rave about our staff ENOUGH! They consistently go above and beyond to best serve our residents and ensure each of their individual and collective needs are met. Today, our featured staff is Jayla, our intermediate care facility (ICF) manager. Here is what Jayla had to say about herself and her experience working for McCall’s! Thank you for all you do, Jayla!
JAYLA:
I’m 29, I started at McCall’s as a CNA. After some time, McCall’s sent me for my CMA certification, and now I have been the ICF Manager for a little over a year.
My favorite part of working at McCall’s is that every day is different than the day before. Every day, we have a different set of challenges, and new opportunities to learn and grow for both residents and staff.
McCall’s is different than other places that I’ve worked because it’s a much larger group of people that come together daily for the greater good of another large group of people. McCall’s has introduced me to a lot of really wonderful people. I am so proud of the residents and staff for their resilience through the pandemic; they have handled all of the changes so well, and all with a smile on their face.
What I want people to know about McCall’s-
McCall’s strives every day to make sure the residents know that they can do anything they set their minds to. They have a huge support system who wants nothing but to see them succeed. McCall’s is also a great place to work because you have the privilege of making a difference in the residents’ lives every day.
